2020 Honda Rebel 500

Japanese two-wheeler maker, Honda has unveiled a wide range of motorcycles and scooters at the 2019 EICMA. The new CBR1000RR-R is the major attraction at the brand’s stall. The company has also unveiled the updated versions of the new Honda Rebel 300 and Rebel 500 for 2020.

The 2020 Honda Rebel comes with revised suspension setup, a new gear position indicator, slipper clutch, and updated seat. The motorcycle also gets full LED lighting, which includes a distinctively redesigned round headlight. Featuring new exhaust system, the 2020 Honda Rebel 500 is also now Euro5 compliant. Honda has also unveiled the CMX500 Rebel S Edition, which comes in Matte Axis Grey Metallic. It comes fitted with a new set of factory accessories, including headlight cowl, all-black fork covers and gaiters, plus a diamond-stitch style seat.

2020 Honda Rebel 500 S

The Honda Rebel 300 and the Rebel 500 comes with slipper and assist clutch as standard. The new additions improve overall riding experience and reduce the effort at clutch lever by 30%. Suspension mechanism comprises of telescopic front forks and twin shock at the rear. The front suspension unit receives new internal buffering, stiffer spring rate and tweaked fork oil level, while the twin rear shock absorbers comes fitted with nitrogen gas and stiffer spring rate.

The Rebel 500 is powered by a 471cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of producing 45.5bhp of power and 43.3Nm of torque. The Rebel 300 gets a 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit.
